Nancy O'Dell's initial job in the broadcast industry was as an anchor and reporter at WPDE-TV Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Later, she was a morning reporter and anchor on WCBD TV. Her reporting on the streets of Charleston on police leniency towards DUI cases has led to being the State Law Enforcement Division investigating these cases. Ms. O'Dell received the Best Report of the Media Award South Carolina by the Associated Press. O'Dell has worked at Charleston working as a journalist, was a co-anchor at NBC's Miami WTVJ-TV station before moving over to Access Hollywood where she is an anchor and reporter on weekends. She also works as co-anchor for Dateline NBC and NBC News Today. She's reported on The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted several Pre-ShowArrivals Shows in preparation for The Emmys And The Golden Globes. Also, she co-hosted Miss USA's pageant as and the Miss Universe Pageant.
